Achieving sales target for all those working on an outbound process in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies in the city becomes a tough task during December. With all the festivities in US and UK falling during this month, the collection levels go down making it difficult for the agents to meet the targets.

The 20-week days working schedule during a month gets disturbed in the month of December as every one in the Europe is in festive spirit and don't want to be disturbed. At such a time, the task of the agents become tougher as people tend to get irritated if disturbed. A person who achieves his target during the month does receive a pat on the back for his convincing skills.

However, certain companies do keep their monthly targets on a low during December continue with this during this period, the operations team is not disturbed as they have to focus only on meeting the targets. Some of the KPOs/Call Centers given their employees an eight-day holiday as it is generally a relaxed period.

Similarly, other inbound processes hardly have any calls and it's celebration time for most of them. Some of the clients in US do allow the agents to relax as even they understand that most of the Americans do not wish to interact with any of the sales or marketing agents.
